Hi Baby! is made by one person, so replies usually take a day or two. It helps if you say which iPhone you have and which version of iOS, and what you were doing when it went wrong.
Common questions
Where are my ultrasound photos stored?
On your phone, inside the app. They are not uploaded anywhere. That also means deleting the app deletes the photos — export a backup first if you want to keep them.
How do I move my diary to a new phone?
On the old phone: Settings → Diary backup → Export. You
get a single .zip file holding the diary and every photo. Save
it somewhere you keep things — Files, iCloud Drive, email it to yourself.
On the new phone: install Hi Baby!, create your pregnancy profile, then Settings → Diary backup → Import and pick that file.
I imported a backup and some visits did not appear.
Import merges rather than replaces: a visit already in the diary is skipped rather than duplicated. If a visit is genuinely missing, it was probably not in the backup file — check the date the file was exported.
The app will not open my backup file.
It only accepts the .zip that Hi Baby! itself exported. A
zip from somewhere else, or one that has been unzipped and re-zipped, will
be refused.
What ends up on the card I share?
The photo, the week of pregnancy, and your note — nothing else. No measurements, no clinic name, no visit date. The card is drawn on your phone and handed straight to the iOS share sheet.
One thing to check yourself: many ultrasound machines print the mother's name along the very top of the picture. The app trims that strip before it makes the card, but machines differ, so glance at the card before you send it.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a single visit from inside it, with the trash icon. To remove everything, delete the app — the diary lives only on the device, so it goes with it. There is no account and no server copy to ask us to erase.
Can I turn the ads off?
Not yet. Ads are what keeps the app free, and there is no paid tier at the moment.
The reminders are not arriving.
Check that notifications are switched on in Settings inside the app, and that iOS is allowing them: iOS Settings → Hi Baby! → Notifications. Reminders are scheduled on the device, so they keep working with no signal.
My due date changed.
Edit it on the pregnancy screen. Visits already in the diary keep the week they were recorded with — that is deliberate, because a scan belongs to the week it was actually taken.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Vietnamese, German, French, Japanese, Korean and Polish. The app follows your iPhone's language; there is no switch inside the app.
